I recently stayed with a group of friends, and we had a fantastic time! Our rooms were large and comfy. We loved the easy access to local restaurants and enjoyed the nearby Ellis Park Race Course for some thrilling horse racing. Breakfast was delicious, and the kitchen stocked with beverages was a thoughtful touch.

However, I faced a bit of a wait during check-in, which was slightly inconvenient.

The L&N is a delightful place. The cozy sitting areas made relaxing easy. I loved having a clawfoot tub in my room. it added a touch of luxury. Breakfast was definitely a highlight. Fresh fruits and delicious egg bites were served daily. Greg, the innkeeper, really makes it personal by accommodating dietary needs, which I appreciated. While the outdoor dining area was perfect for morning meals, the proximity to the train tracks was bothersome at night. Some guests might find the noise from passing trains disruptive. I faced a bit of a wait during check-in, which was a minor inconvenience. Despite this, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, with interesting decor and historic charm throughout the property. The location is excellent for exploring local dining and the nearby Ohio River. Overall, I enjoyed the stay, but the noise and check-in delays could use improvement.

The disruptive noise from passing trains is rather disappointing!!! Limited common area facilities felt cramped during peak hours, and a more modern touch in bathrooms would elevate the overall experience!!!

The Deluxe Queen Room was comfy and spacious. It had a private bathroom, a fridge, and a coffee machine for morning brews. Loved the outdoor dining area too, perfect for breakfast outside. The kitchen was stocked with water and soft drinks, and there was a cozy seating area. Just what I needed!

Our family visit was wonderful! We had a cozy time at the B&B, enjoying the delightful breakfasts and spacious rooms. We even spent a day at the nearby Ellis Park Race Course watching the horse races, what a thrill for everyone, especially the kids and my aunt!

For dads, it would be great to have more family-friendly activities.
